American Medical Academy Inc., (AMA) Kherson State University (KSU), Bukovinian State Medical University (BSMU), and Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University have executed an exclusive strategic partnership for establishing and operating AMA Polish campus in Poland, other EU territories, and the USA. As per the arrangement, this AMA Polish Campus has been established in Poland, to offer a six-year medical program (Master’s Degree “MD), under the AMA-KSU partnership and AMA-BSMU partnership, for local and international students.
The Kherson State University (KSU) has over 100 years of teaching and training experience, and Bukovinian State Medical University (BSMU) has 80 years of rich medical education and training experience, as well as years of track record as a major European Medical University. Students from over 40 countries are studying at the AMA’s partner Ukrainian universities (KSU, BSMU) for the six-year medical studies (MD program this is the pre-war situation).
At the AMA Polish Campus medical students in Poland and at the AMA Medical campus in Ukraine (border to the EU country regions KSU & BSMU), US and EU Integrated MD curriculums are offered. The MD academic programs are offered in English by European and US professors, also with visiting international distinguished medical faculties. Clinicals will be done at Polish hospitals and options are available to do clinicals at other EU country hospitals and US teaching hospitals (certain conditions would apply for the clinical opportunities outside of Poland).
Under this strategic partnership, the enrolled medical students study the first three years at AMA Medical Campus at Kherson State University and Bukovinian State Medical University (students have the option to join one of the prestigious AMA’s partner state universities: in Ukraine at the EU border and the last three years of studies at the AMA Polish Campus to obtain a Polish medical license after graduation from the same university (internal transfer).
Students who choose to complete the six years (full medical studies) at AMA Medical Campus in Ukraine will be prepared for the NIL & Nostification exams (for securing the Polish medical license), during the study period with no additional fee. All medical program graduates are required to do 13 months of clinical training at Polish hospitals and pass the LEK exam to secure a Polish medical license. All AMA medical campus graduates will receive a medical degree from KSU or BSMU, as per each candidate’s official enrolment.
The AMA Polish Campus’s “Medical” program (KSU and BSMU) operation in Poland is an extension of the KSU and BSMU’s Ukraine medical education program with a lot more value added to medical education and training. MD program graduates have the opportunity to take a Polish license and work in Poland and any EU country, or take the US medical license, and also in the UK or anywhere in the world.
The AMA Polish campus (AMA-KSU and AMA-BSMU medical campus program) is managed and administered by AMA’s 100% subsidiary Polish organization "American Medical Academy Poland z.o.o. (AMA Poland)" and "AP". The AMA Poland, KSU’s & BSMU’s faculty professionals are committed to providing the highest-quality education & training to medical students, compared to the current global standards. The AMA Polish campus was created also at the request of an international cohort of medical students to get high-quality educational services at an affordable price in the EU territories. Upon completion of the program, those graduates at the AMA Polish Campus would get a Master’s Degree in Medicine "MD" from KSU or BSMU, as the official enrolment.
In summary, the AMA Polish Campus (AMA-KSU and AMA-BSMU) and the consortium of medical education & training partners welcome qualified local and international students for six years of medical studies at our campus in Poland and at the Polish broader campus in Ukraine.
